My pen name is nemo jane. I'm in my early twenties. I work full time with mentally challenged adults and go to university part time. I'm your average mild mannered geek. I fancy myself a closet gamer. I am very much looking forward to EverQuest II and Sims 2.

Urban Amazon came about after an inside joke with a female friend about how amazonian we are, combined with an old doodle of an exceptionally unenthusiastic, chubby cheeked girl. Abandon all hope of regular update times. I refuse to delude myself any longer.

The comic itself is penciled on regular printing paper then colored with tria and prismacolor markers. Nothing amazing here. From there it's scanned, shrunk/cropped, and text is added in photoshop since my handwriting it nasty.

The characters and situations are very loosely based on my friends and our encounters.
